Horseshoe Bend, Arizona

L & rsquo; Arizona is known for two things : The Grand Canyon and Monument Valley… But there is a third natural monument not to be missed when you are near the town of Page, Arizona : Le Horseshoe Bend !

In this canyon, c & rsquo; is the mighty Colorado River that s & rsquo; exhibits in the form d & rsquo; a horseshoe around the canyon (d & rsquo; hence the name Horseshoe in English…).

To enjoy and be able to better photograph this geological wonder, it will find a high point that will allow you to really put Horseshoe Bend value.

Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Maine

At the heart of parc national d’Acadia Maine, you can find a really typical flagship Northeast US, which you wisely wait up d & rsquo; a hill for a truly unique and so cliché representative of this part of the USA…

Located in the village of Bass Harbor, this magnificent lighthouse date 1858 and stands proudly on the rocks overlooking the & rsquo; ocean below.

No need & rsquo; a big hike for the & rsquo; reach as free parking near the lighthouse and you can park your car up & rsquo; at sunset around… At your tripods !

Crystal Mill, Colorado

Colorado is full d & rsquo; beautiful places to photograph… Although we usually think of mountain ranges, there are also the most original places to immortalize, as this former timber mill built in the 1890.

Unused for nearly 100 ans, nevertheless it still make sense in an incredible landscape that & rsquo; you would think straight out d & rsquo; a fairy tale. It will make you near the town of Marble for a chance d & rsquo; observe this mill, after traveling a difficult road I advise you to do 4×4.

Central Park, New York

While we think above all Las Vegas for its slot machines and its wild nightlife, Las Vegas is also a great playground for photographers.

The various Strip hotels allow you d & rsquo; explore the world in just one day, whether Paris, Venice or the & rsquo; Egypt, and these hotels will turn the evening illuminated wonders that allow you to work your photos with long exposures.

You can also visit Neon Graveyard, this cemetery dedicated to former neon lights of the city… A very nostalgic visit to the discovery of the & rsquo; d & rsquo age, yet the city !

Jerome, Arizona

A few hours from Phoenix, between Sedona and Cottonwood, you will find the ghost villa Jerome… Ideally located in the heart of the mountains, this city of 500 residents is the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot, with incredible views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

With these old buildings, Jerome will photograph all day, but c & rsquo; is actually the sunset the city becomes magical, with colors that beautify even the most mundane details… Must !

National Mall, Washington D.C

We do not often think in Washington, D.C. when you consider the beautiful US locations, but the US capital is a truly majestic city, including through National Mall, a set of buildings a few meters of each other, which greatly facilitates the work of photographer, especially since tripods are accepted everywhere in Washington, except to the White House.

Of course, this list highlights some of the most famous places take photos in the US, but there are hundreds & rsquo; others that deserve your attention : the Grand Canyon, le Golden Gate Bridge de San Francisco, the Hollywood Sign, etc.
