Arrival in Yosemite
As I start writing this article to you on this Saturday night, I am in our hotel room in Yosemite, with a glass of champagne in hand…
The advantages of adding a little more to the reason for your trip… hahahahahahah
After about 4 hours drive from San Francisco, we arrived at Yosemite National Park. Luckily today was one of those few days in the year when entry to the park is free.
We decided to make the tourist outfit, The captain, Glacier Point, Yosémite Falls… as well as the sunset on the road to get off at the hotel.

We've been on the road AGAIN, yes when we love we don't count, to go to Mono Lake to admire this expanse of water and its tuffas.
In the morning we stopped at Bodie, former mining town almost abandoned for almost 1 century, or you can easily imagine yourself in a real cinema setting.

I must admit waking up on this Monday morning was a bit difficult… many messages on our cellphones from our relatives who remained in France and worried following the shooting that took place the day before in Las Vegas… We are very touched afterwards, but let's decide to continue our RoadTrip as we had planned and to make the road to Las Vegas this evening where we have to pass 1 night.
So we leave Yosemite early because the road is quite long… after more than 3 hours of driving we arrive at Mammot Lake to visit several points including the Hot Creek Geological site, which is a place where you can admire a river heated by the magma of a volcano.
The drive to Vegas took about 10 hours, by stopping to take many pictures, especially an abandoned plane. Arrival near the Las Vegas Strip, the main avenue was quite sad… tous les hôtels étaient éteins… nous avions encore 15mn de route jusqu’à notre hôtel situé en dehors de la ville.
La journée de demain s’annonce très longue mais un peu plus simple moralement.
Je suis désolée nous n’avons pour le moment pas de super adresse resto ou autre à conseiller car à force de faire de la voiture, nous mangeons en général assez vite, des choses achetées au supermarché.
