Escapism, go, change of scenery. 30h We wanted to run away in Normandy !

Our everyday worries are the same as yours. But since 1 year had accumulated a little ... I like to move, go, voyager, discover new places. I look very forward to our trip to the US (I spoke to you in my article about my passion for USA).

Il y a 2 years I returned with luck in New York, but since, 2 days London, and I have never left Paris. Yes I have a nice house that I love more than anything and I have a nice garden to make me breathe, but nothing wants to drop completely and I had great need.

This is an achievement for us, we left the house without a computer, without vlog device, without all the camera bag ... ! Just us 2 and Athena.

My work and that of Thibault do not allow us to go over 2 days yet. And obviously, a super important meeting was moved to the day when we had to leave.

We arrived in Normandy Monday to 16h and we would leave the next day after dinner. It's short but it gives fishing. In this article I will not talk about the very average restaurant lunch, mcdo the air highway or moderately pleasant things. I will share the different things that have made such a relaxing time 30h.

From Paris without having time to go far, in early May ... We hesitated between Normandy, London, Barcelona ... But the most reasonable remained Normandy, or we could also take our labrador.

Where to go ? Roadmap made ! Let's start with a stop in Cabourg, Deauville and where our hotel and then move the 2^th day in Honfleur.

I had never seen Cabourg. I discovered a city by the sea, quite in the same style of Deauville but with more home.

On a walk in the streets, we have been conquered by the multitude of small artisans dedicated to local food.

I was amazed (sir that's also on), through the window of the coffee shop / bakery, Dupont with tea. They specialize in chocolate and macaroons in cracked. J & rsquo; have discovered that & rsquo; they have several shops in Normandy, and above all Online Store ! We at that time the favorite to take an ice at Amorino we love above all, but we regret not having tasted their superb chocolates.

Certainly it n & rsquo; not in Cabourg you will make shopping splurge, but there still in pretty little restaurants, and when we went, a wonderful great vintage wheel.

We decide after this nice walk, spinning to Deauville to explore our hotel. We wanted something nice, practice and where they allow dogs. Our choice s & rsquo; is then covered l & rsquo; Mercure hotel located in Deauville. Once there we won ! A very warm welcome, instead of on the street to park, very mignone room with a small balcony, and a receptionist who advise us more good for restaurants, we proposed to keep Athena.

The evening we were off, Trouville under the guidance of our receptionist (cheaper that & rsquo restaurants; in Deauville). And having toured all restaurants open full week in May, direction Le Vieux Normand, where we have more than eaten. We tested raclette and fondue Norman, and c & rsquo; was really great (ok we will talk about my diet later…).

After a beautiful night, we went on the boards of Deauville, admire the beach, let Athena frolicking in the sand before spinning in Honfleur for lunch.

Honfleur on arrive ! What a lovely city… And then without a crazy number of tourists c & rsquo; is even better ! Nevermind lunch from restaurant, the only thing I will say c & rsquo; is that we don & rsquo; have not been sick!

Our walk through the streets of & rsquo; Honfleur has done us much good. Surely most of our break dépaysan.

I do not know if I you l & rsquo; have said but : WE LOVE TO EAT !!! Then of course we had to stop in those little shops so pretty and full of local products.

He was soon to 20h and we l & rsquo; d & rsquo hour; a last meal with friends before getting in the car and find our home. We wanted to try a restaurant recommended by my girlfriend Gwen, but it n & rsquo; had not yet resumed its season. I will summarize our meal in a few words : delicious, convivial, very reasonable price. A real good memory (mon chéri a eu son tant attendu plateau de fruits de mer).

L & rsquo; time for us to return to Paris… These small hours away from work, nous auront fait beaucoup de bien. We think even back 1 ou 2 days during the & rsquo; so was our time allow jobs.
